Meet Tara, Your IBCLC 🩷
Hi! I’m Tara Poland— I am a wife, mom of two energetic kiddos, registered dietitian (RD), and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). My passion for maternal health grew from my own breastfeeding experiences – both filled with challenges and triumphs.
With my first baby, I returned to my full-time hospital job just eight weeks postpartum and faced hurdles like low milk supply, jaundice, and clogged ducts. When my second arrived, I expected things to be easier but instead encountered painful latching and mastitis.
These experienced shaped who I am as a lactation consultant and reinforced what I believe wholeheartedly: every breastfeeding journey is unique. With both of my babies, I was able to reach my goal of breastfeeding for over 12 months, and those experiences fuel my passion for helping others.
My mission is to help you feel confident, supported, and prepared – no matter where you are on your breastfeeding or pumping path. I am here to guide, encourage, and empower you every step of the way.
